Section 1: The mission of S48 is to support Arizona’s Veterans and their families with short term financial and resource assistance, when needed. We focus on extinguishing those unexpected emergencies that an Arizona Veteran may experience. We have the warfighter’s “six” so they can continue to focus on their overall mission in
life.
Section 2: The purpose of S48 is to provide financial support, assistance, and resources to veterans in need within the state of Arizona. The Association shall strive to alleviate financial burdens faced by veterans and their families and help improve their overall quality of life.
Section 3: The Association shall be Arizona local in scope and membership.
Section 4: S48 shall be operated on a nonprofit basis under the rules of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The Association is not organized or operated for the benefit of private interest. No part of the net earnings of the Association may inure to the benefit of any private individual. The Association operates for veterans, veterans’ families, and other veteran organization’s purposes.
Section 5: The Association will ensure compliance and fulfillment with the requirements of the Arizona Revised Statues for Title 10, Corporations and Associations. This includes filing S48 Articles of Incorporation with the state of Arizona.
Section 6: The Association will conduct its affairs in a nonpartisan political manner. Its name or influence will not be used directly or indirectly in the interest of any national, state, or municipal political activity.
